Life with God is a tandem bike ride: when He takes the lead, the way is no longer the shortest distance. Pray twenty minutes a day — or an hour if you are too busy. Sunday Eucharist is a gift we take for granted; God’s coffee is the life, not the cup. A boy looking at a Buick says, “I wish I could be a brother like that.”
